Relentless Darkness

Darkness is all around
With no sunrise
Beneath the moonless sky
All evil and malice on the prowl.

Darkness covers each man’s heart
Evil is filled in every man’s blood.
A pious man can be found very rare,
For righteousness, no one would dare.

All around can be seen,
Loathing for each other
All catching feuds
The world sleeps in conspiracy.

No sunshine, no moon, the heart is a solitary loon.
Each man is blind,
Driven by utter drivel,
Peace sweeps away
And chaos takes its place.

Every man believes he’s panache,
Carries with himself his selfish foghorn
Everyday becoming more morose,
As his heart grows more and more coarse.

The evil minstrel sings away
His wicked song.
From each other man wants to flee
The earth is no longer free.
T’is a strange tale
Where one grows more pale.

Everyone starts to bawl,
They grow more and more
Sepulchral
Oh! What laurels man has got.

He whacks one, He whacks the other
This continues o’er and o’er and o’er.

Man forgot things of joy,
Birds forgot to sing
The world is filled with evil gestures
The animals no longer search for green pastures.

I dream of a time,
The earth bright, green and clear
And man is much more
Pious, clean and pure.

But I wake up and see
Man in odium’s grasp,
Getting suffocated, under its clasp.

Still there is hope, and there is time
Save yourself and stop crime,
Though darkness shall always beckon,
Stay away and be yourself
Again be your own.
