The Dream of A Winter Night

While walking on the streets,
I saw a face
Very closer to me and nearer to my heart.
For once I thought, it was my imagination,
But somewhere in my heart
I knew it was my destination.

When I wanted to have a second look at her,
She disappeared into nowhere
But the face became engraved in my heart.
I searched for her here,
There, everywhere,
But at last right behind me
I had found her.

Through the simplicity,
And the kindness of her face,
I realized that she was my love
And when I opened my mouth to
Say I love you…
That I woke up with a start
Surprised and shocked to find,
That there was no one around me,
Except my alarm clock ringing noisily,
And everything scattered around.

And with a heavy heart I realized
It was nothing but a dream..
But I wish it comes true, as it had mesmerized me
As most dreams do.
