Let Us Rise

He is trying to fight,
For the country he was born,
For the country we were born.

Why does he have to do it ?
When we are blind to the fate of our land,
When we are carried away with the waves of selfish pride.

He fights hard to save his motherland
To save his brothers and his sisters
Leaving his self far behind,

He cares for us, he cares for his motherland,
Is that the main reason ?
He fights a noisy war,
To give us peace and while
He fights days and nights
We sleep peacefully dreaming.

While trying to give us peace,
He gives his life
So we ought to give him respect
And honour ----
‘Cause he died for us and ----became immortal.

Now its our turn to follow,
His footsteps and make his dreams come true
“Let us all rise to give our motherland
a bright future,
because he ----whose footsteps we are to follow----
wanted us to have a brighter tomorrow.
